Matrix Modifiers was initiated by Ben Kanoonya Kiwanuka in 1970s, who was a mechanic of all time as he did general mechanics with his workshop in Nakukuba Wakiso District. The prominent Kiwanuka was so famous for his electronics and mechanical engineering technical knowhow.
When the war broke out in 1980s, Mr. Kanoonya never made it however, John Kitaka Kanoonya resurrected his father's business and called it Pleasure Master Uganda limited, which was located at Namirembe hill next to the protestants church. Pleasure Master Uganda did both car electronics, computer sales, repair and maintenance. The company also was an electonics company which built music amplifiers, radio calls, television modifications and repairs, generators, UPSes to mention but a few. John Kitaka captured the government attention and hence was nominated, to be the chief sound engineer at Uganda cultural National Theatre.
When the young brother Eddy Kisingiri Kanoonya graduated, business became Triumphant, and expanded hence the introduction of the music school. John Kitaka left Uganda for South Africa and after Botswana. John Kitaka opened up Zelpy 609 an electronic and computer company that was based in Mayfair Johannesburg. At the same time Pleasure Master (Pty) Ltd Gaborone Botswana was ready. The company was in partnership with Meissner the giant Southern African UPS suppliers. VOA, Stanbic and FNB banks became the targets of our operations. Later after some years Pleasure Master rebranded herself in Southern Africa as Matrix Modifiers determined to conquer the Southern African Market.
